Untethered LLM is designed to run locally on your device.
What the app processes
- Chat messages, attachments, exports, imported models, and settings are processed and stored locally inside the app sandbox.
- When you import a file, photo, or video, the app accesses only the item you choose so it can make a local copy for on-device use.
- Imported GGUF models stay stored locally until you delete them.
What we do not collect
- No account creation
- No analytics or telemetry
- No advertising identifiers
- No mandatory remote inference or background uploads
- No sale of personal data
Permissions and sharing
- The app requests access to Photos or Files only when needed for the action you selected.
- The app shares data only when you explicitly export, share, import, or open content through Apple system flows.
- If you send data to another app, cloud provider, or Apple service, that party's own terms apply after the transfer.
Retention and deletion
- Saved chats remain local until you delete them or use Clear all chats.
- Attachment caches and imported model files remain local until you remove them or use the relevant clear action.
- When you clear data in the app, the app is intended to remove the corresponding local files from its storage.
Changes to this policy
- We may change or update this Privacy Policy at any time.
- If we materially change how the app handles data, we will update the policy before or when the change ships.
